This project involved the construction of a 50,000sqft, six-storey office building of exact architecture alongside the iconic Treasury Building of Sri Lanka. In addition to office space, project compromised the construction of a basement car park and a roof terrace to complement the facilities of the existing building.
All finishes of the building were carried out almost identical to the existing treasury building which was built in 1930 and included high-quality floor and wall finishes using porcelain and granite tiles. Imported Burma teak was used in the state-of-the-art auditorium which was manufactured and finishes at Maga in-house Carpentry and Joinery workshop.
Completed in June 2016, the building has provided additional space for the Treasury of Sri Lanka and the Ministry of Finance and Planning, two vital government institutions.
