In November 2011, Maga Engineering completed the construction of the Ranjanas Commercial Complex for Crown Property (Pvt) Ltd, a medium-scale building project in Colombo. As the main contractor for this project, Maga Engineering played the lead role in bringing this project to life, and were partnered by Milroy Perera Associates who provided the modern architectural design of the building.
The building comprises 08 floors and one basement within a total floor area of 6,211sqm, along with a car park for 11 vehicles, and other recreation facilities. This project involved the construction of a 08 storied R.C.C. framed structure on reinforced concrete Raft foundation. Superstructure consisted of reinforced concrete columns, beams and slabs.
The building was opened for the public on 05 December 2011. ‘7 Stories’ is a fine example of a modern commercial building and now stands out as a landmark alongside the bustling Galle Road of Colombo 04.
