Part of the Katugastota, Kurunegala Puttalam main highway, the 62km road rehabilitation project was completed in May 2009. The project has won accolades from the World Bank, its funding agency, for leading the way amongst the emerging local contractors of the region with respect to quality of work and timely delivery.
The project has also taken initiative in community development activities in the region, including improvements to academic infrastructure, places of worship, agricultural and water facilities, road safety and community health programmes.
